Top interior design in Singapore for a Good Class Bungalow
The city-state of Singapore is one of the world’s leading cosmopolitan cities, and with all its constant international flows and exchanges, it is used to operating only with the best of the best and thus Esperiri Milano, selected among many id firms, returns to the Lion City for an Italian Modern Interior Design project, exporting Italian style to the world.
Home Tour in a typical luxury house in Singapore, but with Italian Modern Interior Design soul
In District 10, one of the most exclusive residential districts, a Singaporean family decided to build their dream home.
The clients requested to follow the tenets of the Good Class Bungalow category, which is a much sought-after housing type in Singapore that requires ownership of a large plot of land and provides a range of benefits and functional spaces typical of local luxury homes.
The development of the villa is based on a square with an inner courtyard that serves as a crossroads and source of light for the adjoining rooms.
From the bottom to the top, the daily living needs of the owners punctuate the functions of the rooms.
The rooms in the basement are intended for normal moments of conviviality: a dining room and an informal living room, arranged along a window overlooking the pool.
Following the Singaporean tradition, the large kitchen is divided into “dry kitchen” and “wet kitchen“, two versions of Italian interior design.
The entrance is on the ground floor and one of its peculiarities is definitely the car porch.
Being the client a collector of cars, both vintage and modern, the solution was devised in order to allow him to park them all together and admire them comfortably.
Always on the ground floor, we can find the private wing with a master bedroom, bathroom, walk-in closet and a private living room.
Last we have a formal living room and a pantry kitchen, for guests and events.
On the second floor and in the penthouse are the remaining private rooms, plus a mini guest apartment, each equipped with a bedroom, walk-in closet, bathroom and sitting room.
The Esperiri design team comes into play with a pure Made In Italy home decor project.
Numerous amenities and one goal: to enrich Singapore with Italian design.
The first phase of the project began with a Shopping Tour in Milan organized by Esperiri, where customers were able to learn about the excellence of Made In Italy and admire the furniture design collections live.
The right choice for every type of Kitchen
For the second phase, Esperiri started with the kitchens and bathrooms to create a top interior design in Singapore.
The house is provided with three kitchens.
For the wet kitchen, the one located in the basement and the only one dedicated to heavy cooking, we chose the Dada Prime model, which stands out for its linearity and the recessed opening of the doors.
Our choice for the dry kitchen, the representative kitchen also used to have meals, our choice fell on Dada VVD Kitchen, a popular model among Modern Italian Interior Design’s collections.
In it, columns and wall units are arranged along the side walls, while in the center are two islands with the top in log stone.
You can browse here the kitchen collection of Dada.
Wardrobe cabinets and tv wall furniture
For the second Shopping Tour in Italy, while still working on the details of the kitchens and all their components, the Esperiri team also designed the closet cabinets and tv wall units.
The system choice fell on Porro, a furniture company rich in modern Italian products with essential lines.
In fact, the TV wall units in all the “private” living rooms were composed by selecting from products in the Modern and Load It collections, while the cabinets in the walk-in closets were selected from the Storage collection.
Focus on: finishes and details
Good design and space planning are distinguished by the definition of every detail.
For the formal living room on the ground floor, intended for social occasions, we chose a gold and white geometric textured paneling for the walls, thus complementing the soft lines of the piano.
For the furniture, the choice fell on Giorgetti for the HUG armchairs and Tamino sofa, and Vistosi for its Oto SP hanging chandelier.
No edges for this living room, but rather curved and soft lines that go with the delicate nuances of the colors and the natural light radiating from the large window, generating a play of reflections that adorns the surfaces and makes the atmosphere cozy and sophisticated.
While for the casual living room located on the lower floor that gives access to the outdoor pool, we chose Minotti with the Alexander sofa, Giorgetti for the Fang table, and Molteni&C for the TV wall.
We selected carefully the two types of wood used and the texture of the surfaces, having to effectively represent the visual culmination of the room.
Moving outside, on the large pool deck, the outdoor furniture is B&B Italia: the Butterfly sofas, Canasta tables, and Fat armchairs reiterate the philosophy with which the project was approached: gentle, soft forms cleverly juxtaposed with the wood nuances of both the external parquet and the TV wall and Fang table inside, as well as the candid hues of the fabrics.
Lastly, we find by the pool the very elegant Landscape loungers by Kettal, whose minimal concept is an authentic demonstration of design that defines every detail.
Everything in perfect harmony with light, both natural and artificial.
By the client’s side in every phase
To ensure a flawless result for this top interior design project, Esperiri also undertook the furniture survey, ensuring itself that this phase of the construction project was carried out in the best possible way, the Esperiri way.
The furniture was then taken to its destination in District 10 … Step by step, the dream house that the client family had wished for was created, all under the careful supervision of Esperiri.
Nothing left to chance
As a final service, together with the architect and creative director of the project, Rachele Pellegatta, our interior design company also took care of the ordering and shipping of all the products chosen by the Singaporean family.
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to take care of the assembly phase due to travel restrictions for Covid 19.
As this was a particularly important project, it was necessary for the architect to be present at the construction site in order to fulfil the client’s requirements in every detail.
Our aim was to combine typical Made In Italy aesthetics with local lifestyle through a project of top interior design in Singapore.
