This inspired offering is an excellent example of furniture design intended for the masses as its aesthetics coincide with the people who will utilize the product. Designer Charlotte Perriand designed the Mexique Coffee Table of Cassina for the Galerie Steph Simon in Paris. The initial version of this furniture piece, however, was intended for the students of the Maison du Mexique at the Cité Universitaire Internationale in Paris. Precision made with attention to detail, Cassina's Mexique will be more than capable of providing any space with a stable and beautiful working area that doesn't obstruct its surrounding elements.
Mexique Coffee Table Cassina Features
Compact and streamlined features define The Mexique Coffee Table. The rounded shape of its wooden tabletop, with its corners curved to reflect the human hand, was designed to be minimal, therefore occupying as little space as possible. This feature then facilitates the motion between the furniture pieces surrounding the Mexique, allowing for unrestrained movement within its location. Its shape also permits more tables to be combined to form squares or rectangles, extending the area of use. The legs for this table consist of folded sheet metal, giving The Cassina Mexique Coffee Table a more rigid stance.
Mexique Coffee Table Materials
Cassina's Mexique utilizes solid oak or American walnut for its beautifully made tabletop. You can opt for an oak, American walnut, mahogany, and black-stained oak for a natural finish. Lacquered options in petroleum and iced brown are also available for the tabletop. The legs can come in either a matte black or gunmetal grey finish. The feet for the Mexique of Cassina are made of a durable black plastic material. Any combination of these finishing options will result in a table that will integrate itself into your interiors without difficulty.
Mexique Coffee Table Cassina Compositions
Cassina's Mexique Coffee Table has three measurements: 80x118x31 cm, 80x118x38 cm, and 80x118x41 cm. There are other heights for this table as well. The Mexique 527_2 measures 80x118x70 cm. The 527_5 measures 80x118x80 cm and is suited for high chairs. Two other tabletops measuring 168x164x73 cm and 130x180x73 cm. These sizes apply to your dining room. These sizes can give you options for how you want to utilize the table. The low heights serve as coffee tables. The taller heights can be used for dining purposes and the larger tabletop sizes can accommodate more people.
