The Eracle collection, characterized by a rigorous and linear design, makes his debut in the sleeping area with a new Maxalto storage unit. The Eracle Maxalto storage units, in tune with the bookcases that gave life to the collection in 2010, become a new element that can be inserted in any type of environment, with rigorous and well-calibrated proportions.
Eracle Maxalto wardrobe, designed by Antonio Citterio, is a container extremely easy to use. A compact volume with a simple and rigorous aesthetics, with a design defined by front faces marked with strips that frame the interior of the wardrobe and the transparent doors. The final result is a unique product, studied down to the smallest detail to generate a play of full voids, transparencies and constant materiality.
Eracle Maxalto Features
Eracle Maxalto looks like a compact volume. The first feature of this cabinet is the possibility to have it designed also in a double-sided version: in this way, placed in the middle of a room, it is both able to divide the space and to maintain its functionality as a container object.
Eracle Maxalto storage unit has the same features as the other elements of the collection for the living area: simple and essential lines, glass doors and back panels with high-tech fabric inside and bronzed nickel profiles. Further details enrich these storage units and make them unique, for example the removable trays or internal drawers are designed with a metal profile incorporated in them and a hinged plate functions as a handle, highlighting even more the essentiality of Eracle.
The Maxalto company has always set as its goal the use of precious and durable materials. The result is a wardrobe with a minimal and sophisticated look, great functional capabilities and extreme simplicity. In addition, the light that illuminates the interior of the container becomes a refined vintage detail taken from the display cabinets of the fifties.
Eracle Wardrobe Materials
The structure of Eracle Maxalto comes in all the tones of wood available in the Maxalto catalogue: brushed light oak, grey oak, brushed black oak, fumed oak and natural wengé.
As far as the interiors are concerned, this Maxalto storage unit is covered in colonial-coloured "melamine leather", in contrast with the dark bronzed nickel colours of the internal equipment, such as the drawer units and shelves.
The doors of Eracle Maxalto are the transparent elements of the volume: made up of a coupled double crystal, they enclose a high-tech fabric inside. These doors, which elegantly try to conceal the contents of the wardrobe, are framed by bronzed nickel profiles. There are numerous references in this wardrobe, such as the one linked to the oriental world: the refinement of hiding at first glance the red lacquered interiors, which reveal themselves only at a later moment.
Eracle Maxalto Compositions
Eracle is a series of multipurpose storage units that are available in different sizes. There are several basic modules with a standard height of 220 cm: the smallest have a width of 110 cm, 63.5 cm deep or 120 cm wide and 51 cm deep, while the largest module has a width of 210 cm and a depth of 63.5 cm.
The modularity of the individual units of this cabinet allows you to create different combinations capable of generating in-line cabinets that are perfectly suited to different types of space. These wardrobes can be aligned with the walls or can be used as a space divider if positioned in the middle of a room. The material lightness and compositional flexibility of Maxalto storage unit allow this wardrobe to take on different roles.
